Fuchs Dermatology is pleased to announce that Dr. Brittany Smirnov, D.O. will join our practice September 2022. Dr. Smirnov is a board-certified dermatologist with special interests in the early detection of skin cancer as well as the diagnosis and treatment of connective tissue diseases.
Dr. Smirnov received her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2013 and completed her residency program at the Broward Health Medical Center in 2017. Prior to joining Fuchs Dermatology, Dr. Smirnov has practiced in Florida and Northern Virginia. Dr. Smirnov is a published author of over a dozen research articles, appearing in such publications as The New England Journal of Medicine, Cutis, and The Journal of Investigative Dermatology. Dr. Smirnov in the proud recipient of the prestigious 2020 Patient Care Hero Award, presented by the American Academy of Dermatology. We are thrilled to have her join our team!
